Greetings from upstate New York.\u00a0 We are enjoying Thanksgiving dinner at a country inn with the Lord’s mother, grandmother, aunt, uncle, and one cousin.\u00a0 The cousin’s sister is staying in SF with her boyfriend.\u00a0 MIL’s sister’s family is going to be with her while she is recovering from a stroke.\u00a0 MIL’s other brother lives out west and had to work.\u00a0 His daughter also is working, so she couldn’t join us either.\u00a0 So this year we are down from a possible 27 to 7.<\/p>\n
We miss everyone, but it is nice to be with family.<\/p>\n
I am thankful for:
\nMy husband
\nMy parents and my sister
\nMy family
\nMy MIL and her family
\nMy health
\nMy friends
\nMy community
\nHaving enough to eat
\nHaving a nice warm house
\nHaving enough clothes to keep me warm
\nBeing able to read<\/p>\n
Random fact: The second Thanksgiving we were married we spent in Cancun, Mexico with my parents, my sister, and her best friend.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
